Manage templates
From the template table you can:
- Rename a template.
- Preview the HTML output.
- Edit the content.
- Duplicate reusable templates.
- Delete stale templates.
Best practices
- Keep one template per message purpose.
- Use a naming convention such as
Onboarding - WelcomeorNewsletter - Monthly. - Preview before every first use.
- Keep unsubscribe content visible for marketing email.
- Avoid large images as the only content.
- Test with Gmail and at least one non-Gmail provider before a broad campaign.
Common mistakes
- Reusing a marketing template for transactional email without removing campaign-specific language.
- Hiding all critical text inside images.
- Forgetting unsubscribe content on marketing mail.
- Using placeholders that are not populated for every recipient.
- Editing a shared template immediately before launch without sending a new test.
