The KumoMTA Connection screen summarizes whether PING8 can communicate with KumoMTA.

Controls

• Refresh updates status and runtime data.
• Test checks the configured connection.
• Save changes stores configuration updates.

Health indicators

Review:

• Inject latency.
• Metrics latency.
• Metric lines.
• Webhook lag.
• Connection status tag.

How to use it

1. Save configuration.
2. Click Test.
3. Confirm success status.
4. Click Refresh.
5. Review latencies and webhook lag.

What success looks like

• Injection endpoint responds.
• Metrics endpoint responds.
• Webhook lag is low or empty before traffic.
• No authentication, TLS, or timeout errors appear.

If the test fails

Check:

• Base URL.
• Injection path.
• Auth mode and secret.
• TLS certificate.
• Firewall from PING8 to KumoMTA.
• Reverse proxy route.
