Engine Selection
PING8 lets a campaign or Send API template select a delivery engine.
Options
| Option | Use when |
|---|---|
| Local Postfix | You are testing low-volume self-hosted delivery or need a local fallback. |
| KumoMTA | You want this send to explicitly use the configured KumoMTA path. |
| Tenant default | You want the tenant-level profile to decide the engine and sending profile. |
Recommended production choice
Use Tenant default after an administrator has configured and tested the tenant delivery profile.
This keeps day-to-day sending simple while allowing operators to change the underlying delivery path centrally.
Sending profile
When KumoMTA is selected, PING8 can use a sending profile. Choose:
Autowhen tenant defaults should select the profile.- A named profile when this campaign must use a specific pool/source path.
If no profile is ready, keep sending disabled and fix tenant profile configuration before launching.
